Nick: Micro Technology has changed the world, from music to mobile phones. It only makes sense the same would happen in pain treatment.
Jim: TENS machines was made around about 1970.
Nick: Jim Lamers knows a thing or 2 about tens machines. It stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, and he invented these machines more than 50 years ago.
Jim: It stimulates the message going into the brain to override pain, to induce endorphins and just to relieve pain really.
Nick: But pain relief that requires a trolley? It doesn’t sound that practical.
Jim: Prior to this you had them on a troller that you moved around.
Nick: But look what’s happening now.
Glenice: It's like just getting dressed. You just whack it on.
