All our TENS Units and Electrodes are Certified & Registered in Australia as a Medical Device. Therefore most Australian private health funds can allow you to claim up to 100% of the purchase price depending on your level of cover.
Please check with your health fund to confirm eligibility and requirements as you are responsible for what can and cannot be claimed. In most cases, you will need to provide them with a letter from your GP, Obstetrician or physiotherapist stating your need for a TENS Unit, and a receipt from the purchase.
When purchasing a TENS Machine, for your safety, it is advised that you purchase a model that is certified and registered. Rest assured that all products in our range are certified and pass Australian Standards.
Latest Update: Recently MBF have stated that they will reimburse their clients if their tens machine is purchased from a pharmacy, not an online store. We have been told these rules may change in the coming months. However it is best to speak to your health fund to confirm whether or not you can claim when purchasing online.
